Psychology Interns

Psychology interns to conduct literature reviews, collect and analyze data, prepare materials for educational workshops & webinars, send information to clients, help design on-line survey, analyze data for poster development. survey design, Analytical and statistical skills, and familiarity with SurveyMonkey platform are a plus. Needed minimum1-2 afternoons per week (1-7pm) (no weekends).

 TARA4BPD needs your help to bring hope and change to the BPD community. If you are reading this, your life has been impacted by BPD, either as a sufferer or as a family member. You’ve probably experienced difficulties finding reliable information, support and effective treatment.

You can help by volunteering and bringing your special area of expertise to solving the problems of inadequate research , stigma, availability of effective treatment, increased awareness of BPD and early diagnosis.

FUNDRAISING

Help plan various activities, contact potential donors, secure sponsors, promote, market Events, and manage budget and logistics. A creative and enthusiastic attitude along with excellent communication and organizational skills and a passion for our cause will guarantee success. Good contacts and                          Fundraising experience is a plus.

Why INTERN at TARA?

       Interning at TARA gives you the opportunity to learn about cutting edge neuroscience and treatment research, especially personality disorders and BPD. You will see new treatments in action such as Mentalization Based Therapy. This is an opportunity to enhance research skills while learning about all aspects of working with families, advocacy, and research dissemination. Experience and Letters of recommendation to graduate schools are a plus!

Requirements: juniors or seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher degree in psychology or a related field, interest in neuroscience, family work, & research. We will train

 
 
 
 

TARA4BPD is a national not-for-profit organization established in 1994. Our mission is to raise awareness of BPD, foster education and research about BPD, and to reduce the stigma towards BPD. Our science-based educational programs teach families techniques for helping loved ones with BPD. For 30 year our NationalBPD Helpline has provided National information and referrals to callers.
